The Schilthorn in the Bernese Oberland, Switzerland, standing at 2,970 meters, is a popular peak featuring a very steep ski run in winter that descends 75% down into the Engetal valley. The summit and its revolving restaurant, “Piz Gloria,” are also known from the 1969 Bond film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service.” The mountain is often very exposed to the wind, which can lead to spectacular snow drifts.
